Guillermo Mena Sánchez

Dr. Mena has an advanced knowledge in genetics, molecular bases of growth in baby and environmental influences. He began his research career in 2013 in the Nutrition Unit from the Rovira I Virgili University in one of the most prestigious research group in the area of nutrition and epidemiology from Catalunya (Spain). His doctoral thesis investigates the critical impact of consuming the different subgroups within the Mediterranean diet on reducing the risk of prevalent chronic diseases.
